People who thought that acne would disappear after their teens couldn’t have been more wrong as acne continues to torment adults as well as teenagers. You can get these vitamins by consuming foods like citrus fruits, parsley, strawberry, red bell pepper, papaya, cauliflower, tomatoes, spinach, watermelon, guava, carrots, apricots, legumes, leafy vegetables, cereals, nuts etc.
Adult acne can be caused due to various reasons. In women, pregnancy and menstruation can be a cause for acne. The reason being the hormonal imbalances that come about a lady’s body during these periods that can cause acne to erupt and gradually go away when the levels of progesterone comes down. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is another well-known reason for adult acne in women as this condition too leads to hormonal imbalance.
